Jene lange Tradition kommt oft (äußerlich) dadurch zum Ausdruck, dass die betreffende Regel oder Doktrin durch eine Abfolge lateinischer Worte gekennzeichnet wird (z.B. „duplex-effectus-Doktrin“, „in dubio pro reo“, „ne bis in idem“).
