Madam President, I wish to support my colleague - even though he is Scottish - Struan Stevenson.

Als Landsmann und stolzer Schotte möchte ich lediglich sagen, dass er mit seinem Beitrag zu dieser Aussprache nicht gerade Aufbruchstimmung verbreitete.

I would simply say – and I do so as a fellow, proud Scot – that the contribution he made to this debate today would not easily be confused with a ray of sunshine.
