Grenzbewohner

Speziell geht es hier darum, die Einreise bestimmter Grenzbewohner von Drittländern in die EU zu erleichtern.

Besonders als Grenzbewohner bedauere ich dies sehr. Aber ich habe Verständnis dafür, dass es vielleicht in gewissen Fällen noch Probleme mit den Kontrollen geben könnte.

Daher haben sich die Nachbarstaaten Polen und Litauen auf eine Erleichterung des Grenzübergangs für Grenzbewohner geeinigt, die bis jetzt jedoch noch nicht umgesetzt wurde.

To that end, neighbouring Poland and Lithuania have reached agreement on making it easier for people living in border areas to cross the border, but this has yet to be implemented.
