Dass dies gelungen ist, zeigen die vielen Ehrungen, die P. Peus zuteil wurden, aber auch mehrere Veröffentlichungen in den Jahresberichten des Leichtathletikverbandes Rheinland (vgl. "Dokumentation", S. 114 – 122).
