Du hast es gesehen, denn du, du schaust auf Mühsal und Gram,

Thou hast seen, For Thou perverseness and anger beholdest;

Denn Mühsal aus der Erde nicht geht und Unglück aus dem Acker nicht wächst;

Although affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground;

Sie gehen schwanger mit Unglück und gebären Mühsal, und ihr Schoß bringt Trug."

They conceive mischief, and bring forth vanity, and their belly prepareth deceit.

Wer mit Augen winkt, wird Mühsal anrichten; und der ein Narrenmaul hat, wird geschlagen.

He that winketh with the eye causeth sorrow: but a prating fool shall fall.

Wer Unrecht sät, der wird Mühsal ernten und wird durch die Rute seiner Bosheit umkommen.

He that soweth iniquity shall reap vanity: and the rod of his anger shall fail.
