Ladies and gentlemen, let me conclude my speech with a few simple words.

Herr Präsident, ich möchte jetzt gern sowohl diese Rede als auch meine Arbeit in diesem Parlament abschließen.

Mr President, I would now like to round off both this speech and my work in this Parliament.

Ich stimme mit dem Kommissar überein, der in seiner Rede abschließend sagte- und auch ich möchte damit abschließen-, dass das C in CFP"...stands for common, not convenient and colonial".

I agree with the Commissioner, whose speech contained the concluding remarks- which I would certainly echo- to the effect that the C in CFP '... stands for common, not convenient and colonial '.

Deshalb würde ich Sie bitten, dass Sie sich in Ihren Reden kurz halten und wir alle versuchen, Zeit zu sparen, so dass wir diese Aussprache zusammenhängend führen und bis halb sechs abschließen können.
