Bei Hündinnen wirkt Gonazon durch die Hemmung der Produktion von Sexualsteroiden und kann in seltenen Fällen bei präpubertären Hündinnen mit einer Scheidenentzündung einhergehen.

In bitches, Gonazon works by inhibition of the production of sex steroids and may be associated with rare cases of vaginitis in prepubertal females.
