Mit Hilfe des Druckstempels 41 übt die Druckfeder 40 Druck auf den Inhalt des Schmiermittel-Reservoirs 38, also auf das dort befindliche Schmiermittel in Form z. B. eines Kriechöls aus.

By means of the pressure plunger the compression spring applies pressure onto the contents of the lubricant reservoir , i.e. onto the lubricant contained therein in the form of, for instance, a penetrating oil.

Insbesondere kann das Schmiermittel, vorzugsweise in der Form eines Kriechöls, in sehr geringen Mengen aufgetragen werden, so dass weder das Rohr noch die Umgebung durch das Schmiermittel merkbar verschmutzt wird.

In particular, very small quantities of the lubricant, preferably in the form of a creep oil, may be applied so that neither the tube nor its ambiance are perceivably soiled.
