Ein Schmieren hat nämlich den Nachteil, daß bei Erwärmung der Schmierstoff zumindest teilweise verdunstet und ggf. verharzt, so daß in Einzelfällen sogar bis zu zweimal pro Tag neuer Schmierstoff aufgebracht werden muß.

Lubrication, by the way, is disadvantageous in that the lubricant, upon heating, evaporates at least partly and even may suffer resinification so that new lubricant must be applied, even up to twice a day in individual cases.
