So wahr ich lebe!

Darum spricht der HERR HERR also; So wahr ich lebe, so will ich meinen Eid, den er verachtet hat, und meinen Bund, den er gebrochen hat, auf seinen Kopf bringen.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; As I live, surely mine oath that he hath despised, and my covenant that he hath broken, even it will I recompense upon his own head.

So wahr ich lebe, spricht der HERR HERR, Sodom, deine Schwester, samt ihren Töchtern hat nicht so getan wie du und deine Töchter.

As I live, saith the Lord GOD, Sodom thy sister hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters.

So wahr ich lebe, spricht der HERR, wenn Chonja, der Sohn Jojakims, der König Juda's, ein Siegelring wäre an meiner rechten Hand, so wollte ich dich doch abreißen

As I live, saith the LORD, though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet upon my right hand, yet would I pluck thee thence;

Aber so wahr als ich lebe, so soll alle Herrlichkeit des HERRN voll werden.

But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.

Darum sprich zu ihnen: So wahr ich lebe, spricht der HERR, ich will euch tun, wie ihr vor meinen Ohren gesagt habt.

Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:

So wahr ich lebe, spricht der HERR HERR, ich will über euch herrschen mit starker Hand und ausgestrecktem Arm und mit ausgeschüttetem Grimm

As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you:

darum, so wahr ich lebe, spricht der HERR HERR, will ich dich auch blutend machen, und du sollst dem Bluten nicht entrinnen; weil du Lust zum Blut hast, sollst du dem Bluten nicht entrinnen.

Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee.

Du Menschenkind, sage den Ältesten Israels und sprich zu ihnen: So spricht der HERR HERR: Seid ihr gekommen, mich zu fragen? So wahr ich lebe, ich will von euch ungefragt sein, spricht der HERR HERR.

Son of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye come to inquire of me? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be inquired of by you.
