Vielleicht ist es an der Zeit für die Europäische Union, zusätzlich zu weiteren Präventionsmaßnahmen, einen Stopp für Offshore-Bohrungen in EU-Gewässern mit sofortiger Wirkung einzuführen, um dem Stopp in den USA gleichzukommen.
