Die wichtigsten "Phyto-Therapeutica" waren: Baldrian, Paeonie (Pfingstrose), Beifuß, Stechapfel, Bilsenkraut, Mistel, Tollkirsche, Digitalis, Pomeranze, Chinarinde.

The most important plants were: valerian, peony, mugwort, thorn-apple, common henbane, mistletoe, belladonna, foxglove, bitter orange and Peruvian bark.
