Dadurch wird die Verlustleistung des Verstärkers bei Eingangssignalen, deren Augenblickswerte sich innerhalb des "Fensters" des Komparators befinden, auf etwa ein Viertel der Verlustleistung der beiden einzelnen Brückenverstärker begrenzt.

This reduces the power dissipation of the amplifier for input signals whose instantaneous values are within the "window" of the comparator to about a quarter of the power dissipation of the two distinct bridge amplifiers.
