In allen Aspekten ist er sehr ähnlich der Yucca rostrata, ist aber nur ein wenig kompakter.

Die entfernt an die kleine Yucca rostrata erinnernde Pflanze bildet einen bis zu 3 m langen Stamm, auf dem eine dichte Krone aus steifen, geraden, blau bis graugrünen, bis zu 2,5 cm breiten Blättern sitzt.

Vaguely resembling a small Yucca rostrata, it forms a trunk that can reach 3 m (10 ft.) tall, topped by a dense crown of stiff, straight, blue to gray green leaves to 2.5 cm (1 in.) wide.
