der du vormals hast allen deinen Zorn aufgehoben und dich gewendet von dem Grimm deines Zorns:

Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.

Zorn angesichts ihrer dramatischen Konsequenzen, aber auch Zorn, weil wir es satt haben, dass immer wieder Europa angeklagt wird.

Anger at its tragic consequences, and also anger because we have had enough of Europe being accused.

Wer kann vor seinem Zorn stehen, und wer kann seinen Grimm bleiben? Sein Zorn brennt wie Feuer, und die Felsen zerspringen vor ihm.

Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.

Er hat seine Hütte verlassen wie ein junger Löwe, und ist also ihr Land zerstört vor dem Zorn des Tyrannen und vor seinem grimmigen Zorn.

He hath forsaken his covert, as the lion: for their land is desolate because of the fierceness of the oppressor, and because of his fierce anger.
