10 Sie verstehen nicht, das Rechte zu tun, spricht der HERR, sie, die Gewalttat und Verwüstung in ihren Palästen aufhäufen.

10 For they know not to do right, saith the LORD, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.

17 Er soll auch nicht viele Frauen nehmen, damit sein Herz nicht auf Abwege gerät; auch soll er sich nicht zu viel Silber und Gold aufhäufen.

17 "Neither shall he multiply wives for himself, lest his heart turn away; nor shall he greatly multiply silver and gold for himself.

Nennen wir doch die Länder beim Namen, die den Strom des Marktes durch Aufhäufen von Dämmen von Schwierigkeiten von dessen natürlichem Flußbett wegleiten.

Let us name and blame those countries that divert the flood of the market away from its natural channels by their use of the logjams of inconvenience.

Andrerseits: Als Zweck des Austauschs, d. h. als Bewegung, die den Tauschwert, das Geld selbst zum Inhalt hat, ist der einzige Inhalt Vermehrung des Tauschwerts, Aufhäufen von Geld.

On the other hand: As the aim of exchange, i.e. as movement which has for its content exchange value itself, money itself, the only content [of the process] is an increase of exchange value, accumulation of money.

18 Aber ihr Gewinn und Hurenlohn wird dem HERRN geweiht werden. Man wird ihn nicht wie Schätze sammeln und aufhäufen, sondern ihr Erwerb wird denen zufallen, die vor dem HERRN wohnen, daß sie essen und satt werden und wohl bekleidet seien.

18 And her merchandise and her hire shall be holiness to the LORD: it shall not be treasured nor laid up; for her merchandise shall be for them that dwell before the LORD, to eat sufficiently, and for durable clothing.
