Der Komplex umfasst ein Hauptgebäude mit angrenzenden Flügeln auf der Nord-, Süd- und Westseite sowie eine dorische Fassade mit sechs Säulen auf jeder Seite für jene, die die Akropolis betraten und für jene, die sie verließen.

The structure itself features a main central building with adjoining wings on the north, south, and west side as well as a six columned Doric façade on both sides for those entering the acropolis as well as for those exiting.

Im Hintergrund befand sich nicht nur die Wand einer weiteren Terrasse, an der vermutlich viele Statuen standen; der Betrachter sah auch auf den schon 150 Jahre früher errichteten, schlichten dorischen Athenatempel, der eine Terrasse höher stand.
