Vom 1. Januar 2002 an setzen die EZB und die Zentralbanken der teilnehmenden Mitgliedstaaten auf Euro lautende Banknoten in Umlauf.

As from 1 January 2002, the ECB and the central banks of the participating Member States shall put into circulation banknotes denominated in euro.
