Manchmal funktioniert es wieder. Dann wieder nicht. Kein Dauerzustand.

Sometimes it works again. Then not again. Not a permanent condition.

Eine andere Möglichkeit gab es dafür nicht, aber wir alle haben meiner Ansicht nach schon rein gefühlsmäßig verstanden, dass dies kein Dauerzustand sein kann.

There was no other way around this, but I believe that we all have understood by now, even intuitively speaking, that this situation is untenable.
