Um auf das Thema zurückzukommen, muß ich sagen, daß ich in den letzten Jahren oftmals dachte, die Abkürzung GASP stehe nicht für die Gemeinsame Außen- und Sicherheitspolitik, sondern für eine gehaltlose, ausweichende und sklerotische Politik.

To return to the debate, I have to say that there have been times in the last few years when I have felt that the initials CFSP have not stood for common foreign and security policy but for coreless, fudge and sclerotic posturing.
