The Whinchat, the red-backed Shrike, the Black Stork, the Kingfisher and the European Otter are some of the species that can be found there.

Daneben wurde deutlich, dass sehr viele Naturschutzgebiete entlang des Grünen Bandes liegen, die für den Biotopverbund wichtig sind.
