I must confess

I must confess that I find it increasingly difficult to explain to ordinary people that they must continue to fight for Europe, despite my commitment to it.

Ich gestehe, daß ich trotz meines Engagements für Europa immer größere Schwierigkeiten habe, den Bürgern zu erklären, weshalb man sich weiter für Europa einsetzen sollte.

   – Mr President, I must confess that I have found it hard to speak in this debate and I would, in fact, start by remarking that we must all bear in mind the words of Mrs Lulling.
