So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

Wo sie nun eines andern Mannes wird, solange der Mann lebt, wird sie eine Ehebrecherin geheißen; so aber der Mann stirbt, ist sie frei vom Gesetz, daß sie nicht eine Ehebrecherin ist, wo sie eines andern Mannes wird.

Ehebrecherin... aber ich hatte es auch genossen

do not betray the night of life for the night adulteress

nicht verraten die Nacht des Lebens für die Nacht Ehebrecherin

For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life.

Denn eine Hure bringt einen ums Brot; aber eines andern Weib fängt das edle Leben.

And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

Wer die Ehe bricht mit jemandes Weibe, der soll des Todes sterben, beide, Ehebrecher und Ehebrecherin, darum daß er mit seines Nächsten Weibe die Ehe gebrochen hat.

Und der HERR sprach zu mir: Gehe noch einmal hin und buhle um ein buhlerisches und ehebrecherisches Weib, wie denn der HERR um die Kinder Israel buhlt, und sie sich doch zu fremden Göttern kehren und buhlen um eine Kanne Wein.
