This hotel with its impressive wood-carved bay window in its current form dates from the year 1906. Legend has it that the Thuringian dumplings called “Hütes” were prepared and served here for the first time by the pagan goddess Mother Hulda herself.

Das Gasthaus mit dem eindrucksvollen, geschnitzten Erker wurde 1906 errichtet. Hier sollen der Legende nach die typischen Thüringer Klöße, die „Hütes“ zum ersten Mal und zwar von Frau Holle persönlich hergestellt worden sein.
