The aim of the project is to identify the impacts of habitat fragmentation on biodiversity patterns and ecosystem processes in the three main lowland vegetation types of the Cape Floristic Region - viz. renosterveld, strandveld and lowland fynbos.

Ziel des Projektes ist es, die Auswirkung von Habitatsfragmentation auf Biodiversitätsmuster und Ökosystemprozesse in den drei Hauptvegetationstypen der Kapländischen Tiefebene - renosterveld, strandveld and sand fynbos - zu untersuchen.
