to make desolate

This desolation makes me strong

Diese Einsamkeit macht mich krank

Thus saith the Lord GOD; When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.

So spricht nun der HERR HERR: Ich will dich zur Wüste machen, daß sich alles Land freuen soll.

Therefore also will I make thee sick in smiting thee, in making thee desolate because of thy sins.

Darum will ich dich auch übel plagen und dich um deiner Sünden willen wüst machen.

And I will make the land desolate, because they have committed a trespass, saith the Lord GOD.

und das Land wüst mache, darum daß sie mich verschmähen, spricht der HERR HERR.

To make their land desolate, and a perpetual hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished, and wag his head.

auf daß ihr Land zur Wüste werde, ihnen zur ewigen Schande, daß, wer vorübergeht, sich verwundere und den Kopf schüttle.

And I will make this city desolate, and an hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished and hiss because of all the plagues thereof.

und will diese Stadt wüst machen und zum Spott, daß alle, die vorübergehen, werden sich verwundern über alle ihre Plage und ihrer spotten.

For thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall make thee a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I shall bring up the deep upon thee, and great waters shall cover thee;

Denn so spricht der HERR HERR: Ich will dich zu einer wüsten Stadt machen wie andere Städte, darin niemand wohnt, und eine große Flut über dich kommen lassen, daß dich große Wasser bedecken,

Behold, the noise of the bruit is come, and a great commotion out of the north country, to make the cities of Judah desolate, and a den of dragons.

Siehe, es kommt ein Geschrei daher und ein großes Beben aus dem Lande von Mitternacht, daß die Städte Juda's verwüstet und zur Wohnung der Schakale werden sollen.
