Als er das hörte, sprang Pelagius wutentbrannt auf: für ihn war das eine Beleidigung Gottes, weil hier Gott das überlassen wird, was seiner Meinung nach Aufgabe des Menschen ist: Gott befiehlt und der Mensch muss ausführen.

Gott ist kein geheimnisvoller Gott irgendwo, weit weg auf Seinem eigenen sicheren Planeten.

God is not a mysterious God somewhere, far away on His own safe planet.
