lamentation

This is the lamentation wherewith they shall lament her: the daughters of the nations shall lament her: they shall lament for her, even for Egypt, and for all her multitude, saith the Lord GOD.

Das wird der Jammer sein, den man wohl mag klagen; ja, die Töchter der Heiden werden solche Klage führen; über Ägypten und all ihr Volk wird man klagen, spricht der HERR HERR.

And David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son:

Und David klagte diese Klage über Saul und Jonathan, seinen Sohn,

And fire is gone out of a rod of her branches, which hath devoured her fruit, so that she hath no strong rod to be a sceptre to rule. This is a lamentation, and shall be for a lamentation.

und ist ein Feuer ausgegangen von seinen starken Reben, das verzehrte seine Frucht, daß in ihm keine starke Rebe mehr ist zu einem Herrenzepter, das ist ein kläglich und jämmerlich Ding.

In that day shall one take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, and say, We be utterly spoiled: he hath changed the portion of my people: how hath he removed it from me! turning away he hath divided our fields.

Zur selben Zeit wird man einen Spruch von euch machen und klagen: Es ist aus (wird man sagen), wir sind verstört. Meines Volkes Land wird eines fremden Herrn. Wann wird er uns die Äcker wieder zuteilen, die er uns genommen hat?
