Macht

Da sprach Pilatus zu ihm: Redest du nicht mit mir? Weißt du nicht, daß ich Macht habe, dich zu kreuzigen, und Macht habe, dich loszugeben?

Then saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee?

Sie hat sehr viel Macht, die, wie hier schon gesagt wurde, nicht unbegrenzt ist, aber sie hat natürlich die Macht, um das zu tun, was sie tun muss.

It certainly has many powers, which are not unlimited, as has been said here, but it does, of course, have the power to do what it needs to do.

So andere dieser Macht an euch teilhaftig sind, warum nicht viel mehr wir? Aber wir haben solche Macht nicht gebraucht, sondern ertragen allerlei, daß wir nicht dem Evangelium Christi ein Hindernis machen.

If others be partakers of this power over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ.

Juristisch ist die Verfassung ein Vertrag, der an die Stelle der geltenden EU-Verträge tritt.Aber sie regelt das, was alle demokratischen Verfassungen der Welt regeln, die Legitimierung von Macht und die Limitierung von Macht.
